Are TOXINS making you FAT? Simple, Easy WEIGHT LOSS…



I continue to wonder why it is that so many of us find it so hard to lose weight.  It’s easy to understand that the “western diet” plays a huge contributing factor with this; however, after doing some research and reading more on this subject, I found some interesting data. Did you know that having “TOXINS” in your body creates a chemical reaction that interferes with our body’s ability to release fat? It’s true. When our bodies are in a toxic state, the automatic bodily response is to shut down and to go into self-defense mode. Simply put, the body is getting ready for war against the toxins.  Also, the liver and kidneys work overtime in a body that is loaded with toxins. The body barely has time to rid itself of poisons, so ridding itself of fat is put on the back burner. In fact your body will actually store fat as a protectant layer so as to “shield” off the poisoinous chemicals. No wonder we are stuggling with shedding extra lbs. We are working on an uphill battle!

So what does all of this mean? What it means is that in order to optimize weight loss, we have to set ourselves up to succeed. We can do this by detoxing our bodies and then sticking to a general rule of thumb with managing our exposure to daily toxins. The first thing to do before starting any diet program is to use a natural cleanse, drink plenty of water, and to eliminate consumables from your pantry that might be contributing to adverse toxic reactions that may be prohibiting you from losing weight.

What I recommend is using a mild cleanse product for 3 days. During this time, flush your system (most of us are in a constant acidic state based on the western diet). To do this use the Dr. Oz specific drinks like ice water with cucumber, lemon and mint. Add a few berries to your water for natural flavor. During this 3 days, limit yourself to eating only foods that are from your produce isle “fresh food”.
